1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vyaasartha (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations of India. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vyaasartha.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. By using Vyaasartha, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these terms.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach
• Keeping your profile information accurate and up to date

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, remain inactive for extended periods, or are found to be fraudulent.

4. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the articles, stories, and other content you create and publish on Vyaasartha. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform and related channels (such as social media previews and search engine listings).

You agree not to publish content that:

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations of India or your jurisdiction
• Infringes on intellectual property, copyright, or trademark rights of others
• Contains hate speech, harassment, threats, or incitement to violence
• Contains spam, malware, phishing links, or deceptive content
• Violates the privacy of others or discloses personal information without consent
• Contains sexually explicit or obscene material
• Promotes illegal activities or substances

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.

5. Multilingual Content

Vyaasartha supports content in multiple Indian languages including English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of content in any language. The same content policies apply regardless of the language used.

6. Advertising & Cookies

Vyaasartha displays advertisements via Google AdSense to sustain the Platform. Ads will always be shown on the Platform, but the type of ads depends on your cookie consent:

• Accept cookies: You will see personalised ads tailored to your interests, and usage analytics will be collected
• Decline cookies: You will see non-personalised (generic) ads, and no analytics tracking will occur

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use bots, scrapers, or automated systems to access the Platform without written permission
• Attempt to bypass authentication or security measures
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's servers, networks, or operation
• Manipulate engagement metrics (views, likes, follows) through artificial means
• Harvest or collect user data without consent

8. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through your account Settings or by contacting us at support@vyaasartha.com. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy. Published articles may be retained in anonymised form or deleted at your request.

9. Platform Intellectual Property

The Platform itself — including its design, logo, features, and underlying technology — is owned by Vyaasartha and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The name “Vyaasartha” and associated branding may not be used without our prior written consent.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any material breach of these Terms of Service, including but not limited to posting prohibited content, engaging in prohibited activities, or any behaviour that harms other users or the Platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. You may appeal a termination decision by contacting us within 30 days.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content published by users is accurate or reliable.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vyaasartha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of reputation, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vyaasartha, its founders, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. 15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or Platform notification and by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
